Charlotte Patterson, RN, recently joined the staff of West View Manor as the Director of Nursing. She has been a nurse for 22 years with multiple experiences that include working as a staff nurse, supervisor, educator, nurse manager for Home Care & Hospice, Oncology Nurse Manager and Director of Nursing in the course of her career. Char received her Master's of Science in Nursing at Ball State University and completed course work and obtained certification as a nurse executive in Long Term Care (C-NE) and has had 10 years experience in nursing management. Jerry Blackmore, Administrator, states, "Char is certainly an asset to West View Manor as she demonstrates leadership ability as well as her commitment to excellence in nursing and customer service. She is highly motivated and proficient in implementation of programs that improve the quality of nursing care and services we provide to our residents." Blackmore says West View Manor's focus is on resident centered care and Char will continue leading the stff in that area, which is a significant component of our Mission.
